Scary Spider Punch

cauldronWhat You Need:

12 gummy spiders
1 vinyl glove
1 gallon green fruit punch, chilled
2 (1 liter bottles) ginger ale
1 qt raspberry sherbet

How to Make It:

Fill an ice cube tray 2/3 full of water.
Gently place a gummy spider into each of the ice cube tray compartments.
Put in freezer until completely frozen.
Fill the vinyl glove 2/3 full of water and tie the opening closed tightly.
Freeze the glove until solid.
Place the fruit punch and ginger ale into a punch bowl.
Fold in the raspberry sherbet.
Add the frozen spider cubes and lay the frozen hand in the middle of the punch bowl.

Kids love the taste and the scary aspect of this punch. You can use any type of fruit punch you like and lemon lime soda can be used instead of the ginger ale.

Makes 32 servings

Spider Ice Cream Cups

8 individual graham cracker tart shells
8 scoops of vanilla ice cream
16 chocolate cream filled cookies, crumbled
16 red M&M candy pieces
16 pieces of black shoestring licorice

How to Make It:

Lay the tart shells onto a baking sheet.
In each of the shells place 1 scoop of ice cream.
Cover the ice cream well with the crumbled cookies.
Put the shells in the freezer for at least 30 minutes or until the ice cream has hardened.
Take shells from freezer and press 2 M&M’s in the front of the ice cream to resemble eyes.
Slice each of the licorice pieces into 4 strips.
Press 8 strips of the licorice into each scoop of ice cream to form the spider’s legs.
Put back in the freezer until you are ready to serve.

Kids love these easy and simple spiders. You may use any flavor of ice cream and any colors of M&M’s that you prefer.
