Fudge Topped Chocolate Cookies

cookiesWhat You Need:

1/2 C of peanut butter chips
1/2 C whipped ready to spread chocolate frosting
1 (18 oz.) pkg. refrigerated chocolate chip cookie mix

How to Make It:

Set the oven and allow to heat to 350 degrees F.
In a saucepan put the peanut butter chips.
Stirring constantly over low heat cook for 5 minutes or until the chips are completely melted.
Take form the stove and stir the frosting in the melted chips until blended well.
Cool the mixture 10 minutes in the saucepan.
On an ungreased cookie sheet put the cookie dough pieces 2 in apart.
The cookies are baked 12 minutes or until set.
Shape the cooled peanut butter mixture into 20 even shaped balls.
The baked cookies are removed from the oven.
Press l peanut butter ball into the middle of each cookie while still hot.
Cool on the cookie sheet 2 minutes then finish cooling on a wire rack.

Makes 20 cookies

You may use any type of chips in these cookies.

Squiggly Cupcakes

1 1/4 C of water
1/3 C of canola oil
3 eggs
1 (18.25 oz.) box yellow cake mix with pudding
3/4 C ready to spread chocolate frosting
24 gummy worms

How to Make It:

The oven is set to preheat to 350 degrees.
Line muffin tin cups with paper cupcake liners and spray lightly with cooking spray.
In a large mixing bowl put the water and whisk in the canola oil.
Whisk the eggs in until well combined.
Stir in the cake mix powder and blend well.
Pour the batter into the paper liners until they are 2/3 full.
Put in the preheated oven for 22 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool 20 minutes on a wire rack.
In the center of each cupcake make a hole about as wide as a penny using a wooden spoon handle.
Spoon the chocolate frosting into a baggie, seal and snip off one corner.
The frosting is squeezed into the holes of the cupcake with a little frosting piled on top of each cupcake.
Press a gummy worm into the frosting in the hole of each cupcake leaving a small portion of the worm sticking out of the cupcakes.

These are a hit with all kids. These can be wrapped in plastic and given as treats for Halloween or used as decorations for your party table.
