1 C of sugar
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened
4 eggs, warmed and lightly beaten
3/4 C of cherry flavored yogurt
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1/8 tsp salt
2 tbsp bread flour
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen cherries, thawed
Place the sugar and cream cheese into the bread pan.
Place the pan into the machine, lock down and press the cake cycle.
One minute before mixing is to end press the stop button.
Scrape down the sides of the pan and the kneading blade.
Add the eggs, yogurt and lemon juice to the pan.
Place the salt and flour into the pan.
Select the cake cycle and watch for the kneading cycle to end.
As soon as the kneading cycle completes remove the kneading blade.
When the signal goes off signaling that the cycle has ended check the cake to see if itís done by inserting a knife into the middle.
If the knife doesnít come out clean place the selector on the keep warm cycle and let the cake continue to bake for 15 minutes or until done.
Remove the pan from the machine and cool for 10 minutes.
Carefully turn the cake out onto a platter and let the cake cool completely.
Refrigerate until ready to serve place the cherries into the blender.
Puree the cherries.
Serve the cake with the pureed cherries over the top.
