Granola Apple Smoothie

2 apples, peeled, cored and sliced
4 T of water
1 C of prepared custard vanilla pudding
1/2 C of milk
1 granola bar

How to Make It:

In a small saucepan over low heat, stir together the apples and water.
Cook the apples 3 minutes or just until they are beginning to soften.
Drain and slightly cool the apples.
Place the apples in the blender.
Add the pudding and pour in the milk.
Break the granola bar in half and place one half of the bar into the blender.
Blend the mixture just until combined.
Pour immediately into glasses.
Crumble the remaining one half of the granola bar over the top the smoothie before serving.

Add a few blackberries, raspberries or blueberries into the blender along with the granola to make a special treat.

Makes 2 servings

Honey Apple Sipping Tea

1 pot of brewed herbal tea
4 t of honey
1 large sweet apple, diced

How to Make It:

Fill 4 tea cups 2/3 full of the brewed tea.
Add 1 t of honey to each cup and stir until blended in well.
Place 1/4 of the apples into each cup.
Allow the tea to stand 5 minutes then serve.

Serves: 4

Tea makes the perfect after dinner sipper. Enjoy a cup while relaxing after this years Easter dinner.

Yogurt and Fresh Fruit Shakes

What You Need:

1 C of fresh blueberries
1 C of fresh strawberries
1 1/4 C orange juice
1 1/4 C grape juice
4 ice cream scoops blueberry flavored frozen yogurt

How to Make It:

Place the blueberries and strawberries into 4 tall glasses.
Combine the orange and grape juices together in a pitcher.
Divide the juice between the 4 glasses.
Place 1 scoop of the frozen yogurt into each of the 4 glasses

Serves: 4

These make the perfect drinks to serve to children at your Easter dinner. Use other types of fruits, juices and yogurt to the perfect addition to this years Easter celebration.

Fresh Fruit Easter Punch

What You Need:

2 pints strawberries
4 fresh peaches, sliced
2 (6 oz.) cans frozen pineapple juice
24 ice cubes
4 C sparkling mineral water

How to Make It:

Put the strawberries and peaches together in the blender.
Add the frozen pineapple juice concentrate to the fruit.
Puree the mixture until blended together well.
Add the ice cubes one at a time and blend after each addition.
Puree the mixture until it becomes very creamy.
Pour into a punch bowl and add the mineral water, stirring to combine well.
Add fresh sliced strawberries to the punch just before serving.

Serves: 24

Many times Easter dinner means serving a large crowd of family and friends. This punch is simple to make and will add a special treat for both children and adults. Seltzer water or club soda can be used in place of the mineral water.

Passionate Pomegranate Punch

What You Need:

2 tubs Cherry Pomegranate flavor drink mix
8 C water
2 C club soda
2 C cranberry juice
1/2 C lime juice
1/2 C orange juice
Crushed ice

How to Make It:

Put the drink powder into a punch bowl.
Pour the water into the punch bowl and stir until the powder has completely dissolved.
Add the club soda and mix well.
Pour in the cranberry juice, lime juice and orange juice and stir until all the ingredients are incorporated together.
Add the crushed ice just before serving.

Serving Size: 24

This is a great punch to serve if you are having a Valentine’s party. Pretty it up with heart shaped ice cubes colored red and pink with food coloring. If you prefer to serve an alcoholic punch you can substitute vodka for the club soda.

Romantic Raspberry Rendezvous’

What You Need:

1/2 tub Raspberry Ice Drink Mix
1 C cranberry juice, cold
1 C water, cold
2 C sparkling water
Frozen raspberries

How to Make It:

Place the drink mix powder into a small pitcher.
Pour the cranberry juice and water into the pitcher and whisk until the powder is completely dissolved and the ingredients are combined well.
Place the pitcher in the refrigerator at least 1 hour.
Just before serving stir in the sparkling water.
Place frozen raspberries in the bottom of 2 champagne glasses.
Pour the raspberry rendezvous over the top of the raspberries.

Serving Size: 2

Use this drink to start out your special night with that someone you love. Make a toast to each other, wrap arms and sip to the soft music and glowing candlelight and watch your night evolve.

Eternal Youth Smoothie

1 Tablespoon Finely Ground Milk Thistle Seeds
1/3 Cup Extreme Health’s Organic/Wild Crafted Goji Berry
A little Lemon Juice (optional) – Alternative: Pineapple Juice

Grind the milk thistle seeds and soak in pure water overnight.
Put Wild Tibetan Goji Berries in a blender until well chopped.
Add milk thistle seeds and the water in which they have been soaking.
Add a little lemon juice, which is optional.
